Dear Ms. Wood, last night, the city clerk refused to turn up the volume of the audio system, until council could not hear a Brown Beret speaking. Despite my telling them in uncertain terms, and many voices from the People, the council simply did not turn up the volume. Thus, I never heard your discussion with Mayor Sabatino regarding the incorrect verbiage of the proposed advisory ballot. After asking him this morning, on his radio show, he confirmed that the verbiage was not available to the public, or even the council until 4:00 PM on Tuesday, the 10th of July. That is the same day the council voted to accept the incorrect verbiage. As you know, agenda items must be published according to the Brown Act. Thus, the fact that council even considered the item is an illegal act, and voting on it is improper and invalid. I want to know what the council is going to do to rectify this illegal act. Thank you very much, Dave
