WATER FUND RIP OFF

PUT ON HOLD

It seems as though the Modesto City Council has found a way that they may be able to avoid the rip off from the water fund of $18 Million dollars. They just may have found a way where they can avoid using the money. Could they actually be listening to the citizens out there that are calling for them to leave the water fund untouched? I certainly hope so! I am afraid that this money that sits in the water fund is “Burning a hole in their pocket,” and that it will be raided by our elected representatives when it becomes necessary for some other need. This money is intended to be used only to accomplish our planned water upgrades, and for nothing else. Even during these hard times, our elected officials must adhere to legal standards, and do what is right for the taxpayers. Any attempt at robbing this fund will be met with stiff opposition from concerned citizens and organizations that are here to inform the public of what is really going on.           Tux
