Tux writes "This morning I witnessed what is the final chapter in the Sabatino trial, and Carmen was vindicated completely. All charges were dropped against him.

District Attorney Birgit Fladager admitted that they do not have a strong enough case to expect a conviction on any of the charges if they tried the case again, and all charges were dropped.What a total waste of taxpayers money this has been. Carmen has had his financial resources destroyed by a political machine that was bound and determined to take him down. Throughout the whole process, Carmen took the high road, and conducted himself with dignity. Fladager, in her statements to the court requested that Carmen should be responsible for a portion of the cost to defend himself. Frank Carson. Carmen's attorney quickly put her in her place on that subject. She had no standing before the court to even request such a thing. It seems as though the DA is trying to extract revenge against Carmen for the case that they were unable to win.Many thanks to the many people who stood behind Carmen during his long extended ordeal, and especially to the brave jurors who saw through the lies and deceit that were presented to them by the prosecution.
